Our Story
It all began in 1859, when James Kent (1835-1917) emigrated from Cornwall, England to Myrtle, Ontario, and began farming.
Today, 163 years and 5 generations later, James Kent, his great-great-grandson, is continuing his family’s farming tradition in the Newcastle area. His focus is on apple farming, and he’s opened a ‘pick-your-own’ orchard, featuring scrumptious Honey Crisp, Ambrosia, and Royal Gala apples.
