Allin’s Orchard has long been a proud family owned and operated business aimed at serving the local community and our loyal customers the best fresh, seasonal produce.
While the orchard as it stands today didn’t fully come to fruition until 1955 when the 115 highway was constructed which split the property in half, the Allin family have been growing and harvesting fresh apples in Newcastle, Ontario since the year 1908.
In 2017, we unveiled our new logo that honours our rich family history and our tireless commitment to our craft. Each apple depicted in our logo symbolizes a different generation of the Allin family name that have carried on the legacy that those long before us brought to life.
Allin’s Orchard produces 25 varieties of apples along with a selection of other fruits and vegetables. Our current apple varieties include: Empire, Honey Crisp, Royal Gala, Mutsu, Spartan, Red Delicious, Golden Delicious, Golden Gala, Paula Red, Russet, Idared, Snow, Melba, Lodi, Cortland, Spy, Ambrosia, Mcintosh, Wealthy, Ginger Gold, Jersey Mac, Tolman Sweet, Gravenstein, Macoun and Silken.
Allin’s Orchard also has a storefront that is open 7 days a week from the beginning of August until the end of December onward if the crop is plentiful. In store you will find an array of fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as countless other products from a variety of other local small businesses and farms.
