The Orono Townhall is hosting early Canada Day Celebrations on Wednesday June 29th on the lawn by the library. To commemorate this special occasion, the Orono Community and guests will be releasing live Painted Lady butterflies at this event. Come out and help celebrate Canada

Clarington have stated that Decoration Day at the cemeteries they are responsible for will be on the third Sunday of July each year. In light of that, we are holding a non-denominational memorial service at the church on July 17th at 3pm. Everyone is welcome to join us if they wish.
