Lace up your shoes and meet us in Orono to get to know “the village with a difference”! Join us as we explore Orono’s downtown and share stories of notable buildings and residents. Walking tour highlights include: the Waddell family house (Orono Library), the infamous burglary of the Post Office, architecture of the Town Hall and the Armouries, and a glimpse of past industries, like the Beer Blacksmith Shop and the Flax Warehouse.
