November came in like a force. Snow covers our streets and with that Santa will soon make his stops at local parades.

This weekend kicks off the start of local Santa Parades:

Bowmanville Santa Claus Parade
Saturday, November 16, 2019
10:30 a.m. – Downtown Bowmanville

Courtice Santa Claus Parade
Sunday, December 1, 2019
Noon – Nash Road, Courtice

Newcastle Santa Parade
Sunday, November 17, 2019
5:30 p.m. – Downtown Newcastle

Orono Santa Claus Parade
Saturday, November 23, 2019
10:30 a.m. – Downtown Orono

THEE Farmers’ Parade of Lights
Wednesday, December 4, 2019
6 p.m. – Tyrone, Haydon, Enniskillen and Enfield

The Orono Santa Parade is busy putting together the final details – Santa is scheduled to arrive on November 23 around 10:30 AM. Nothing is more exciting than seeing all of those eager faces just waiting for a glimpse of Santa Claus.

To Help keep warm drop by The Orono Country Cafe, for a *FREE Hot Chocolate.

Our parade showcases our community spirit including many local community groups and businesses who love to give back to Orono.

The Orono Parade begins at Mill Lane, continues to Mill St. It then heads onto Main St, and heads East on Station St. The Parade disbands at the Orono Fair Grounds (Princess St).

If you would like to participate in Orono Santa Claus Parade please contact Shelly Rivers 905-244-1433, entry forms are due by November 18th. If you would like to make a donation to the parade to help offset the costs, please contact Shelly Rivers.
